Ans.1- Mrs. Bennet wants Jane to spend sometimes with Mr Bingley, so she asked Jane to ride to Netherfield on horseback as she knew that the rain was about to fall and she would drench and would catch cold and fever and would not be able to come back.This shows that Mrs Bennet is very shrewd woman who could do anything for her daughter to get married to a rich and wealthy man.

Ans-Elizabeth dislikes to Mr Bingley ‘s sisters because they seemed to be arrogant and different in nature as well as they consider themselves superior to Elizabeth.

Ans- Mr Darcy seems to be very arrogant and proudy . He is a tall, good looking and rich man but does not like to mix up with lower status people which shows that he has proud of her wealth.

Ans- Women character in the comic seem to be very vain and proud of their status and appearances . They are clever, highly ambitious and to noteworthy worthwhile activities to do rather than gossiping.

Q5-In this comic,how is Elizabeth Bennet portrayed to be different from the other characters?

Ans- Elizabeth bennet is portrayed as an intelligent and strong woman. She has all the following characteristics in her which makes her an attractive character of the novel – moral integrity, strength, charming personality and super intelligence.

Que- Who, according to you, is the protagonist in the comic you have just read? Give reasons for your answer.

Ans- Elizabeth Bennet is the protagonist in the comic. ‘Pride and Prejudice’. Most of the events and characters are described from her point of view and readers gain access to new information and only when she does. Elizabeth wants to build an independent life for herself with the partner she truly loves and respects.

The writer’s description of Elizabeth is masterful and realistic often placing her side by side with the other characters who do not have her qualities so it deserves more appreciation for her.
